New Creation

I am a new creation

Birthed in new spirit

Washed by His blood

The old man is put off

Discarded in the trash

Follow the Lord

Grow in faith

Seek nourishment from His bread

I find You Lord in the midst of my desert home

Among the tall cacti and the vulture

In the stillness of a summer day

I hear Your quiet still voice calling me

All Flesh is Grass

Sweet sacrifice You gave.

Offering Yourself to redeem us.

Give to the Lord

The very stones themselves cry out to the Lord

Cries of praise from His creation

How is it that man is deaf and mute to Him?

What rebellious hearts we have

How long can we spurn His love?

Foolish man

Give voice to praise

Give Him all worship

Bow before Him

Give to the Lord what is His

Yourself

It is easy in the midst of day to day living

To forget You are there

It is too easy as I pay bills

To forget to Whom I owe everything

It is easy as I struggle through the daily tasks of life

To forget the work You have done

It is easy as I run through a gamut of emotions

To forget the infinite love You have for us

Your divine precepts are just

I am counted among the righteous
